Gel Printing With Corn Starch

Use cornflour to create weathered textures on the gel plate. Gelli Arts® artist Birgit Koopsen starts with an already printed sheet. Roll out acrylic paint colours. Sprinkle the cornstarch on top. The powder will work as a mask. Place the print on top and rub firmly. Lift the print and let it dry before you carefully remove the loose cornstarch. Repeat the process with the leftovers on the plate. #gelliarts #gelplate #printingplate #monoprinting #printmaking #gelprinting #gelliplate #artteacher
