Cosmos bipinnatus

Early, compact, and very floriferous, Cosmos bipinnatus Sonata Series are dwarf, bushy, half-hardy annuals boasting masses of single, pure white, soft pink, and carmine flowers, up to 3 in. (7cm), with golden centers. Blooming for months from early summer to fall, the ravishing blossoms are borne atop sturdy stems and float above the fine, feathery foliage.

Direct sow in early spring after the danger of frost has passed. Seedlings are not winter hardy. Sow in full sun...A true sunshine worshiper. Prefers well drained soils so avoid heavy clay areas. DO NOT FERTILIZE. Rich, fertile soils tend to produce unusually tall, lanky plants with few blooms. Plants become top heavy
