Anabella Cahwje - Baby decor & sewing tutorials on Instagram: "💕I hope you find this tutorial and the tool from the little hack useful. I've tried to make it as clear as possible. Please ask me if you have any questions. 😊 *BLANKET STITCH*: - The blanket stitch is a simple, sewing or embroidery stich. It is used for different purposes such as finishing the edge of fabric, creating a decorative and secure border(blankets), sewing two pieces together along the edges (shown in this tutorial) or layering pieces (aplique, tutorial coming up soon!) - Ideally, the distance between stitches and from stitch to edge should be equal, but this can vary too. - I normally stitch from left to right and from back to front. Feel free to try the other way and see what works best for you. Please note Blankets Sewing, Snowflake Making, Quilt Sewing Room, Hand Stitching Techniques, Basic Hand Embroidery Stitches, Embroidery Stitches Beginner, Applique Stitches, Paper Snowflake, Wool Applique Patterns
