Today, I'll be using this foam ring, garland, and eight-inch piece of chunky wood from Dollar Tree. I took the garland and pushed it through the foam ring then took it back out and hot glued it into place and then I just wrapped the entire roll of garland around the foam ring. I did not pull it too tight to make sure I had enough to cover the entire thing and then I hug glued the end into place. I used scissors to trim it up. Next I'm taking white acrylic paint and a toothbrush with minimal paint on the brush and just going around brushing on the paint onto the wreath. I cover the entire thing just giving it a flocked look. And then I take the piece of chunky wood and hold up a couple of dowels just to see where I'm going to want the placement of them. I want them a little more wide set. So when I'm placing the wreath on them it won't topple over. So I measure out two inches from each edge. And center those. And then I just use a 730 seconds drill bit and drill those holes. And I only end up using one of the dowels. I cut it in half, 6 inches. I paint the wood piece with Mineral Chalk Paint by Waverly and I give that two coats. Once that's dry, I add in some hot glue into the holes and then place down the dowels. Once those are glued in, I paint those with the same chalk paint as well. Next I'm taking some base filler and some Styrofoam little snowflakes. They're both from Dollar Tree. And hook glue them all around the front sides and inside of the wreath. And then I take the wreath and kind of place it above the dowels to get my placement. And then just push it down onto the dowels. Kind of doing one side at a time. Until I have it exactly how I would like it. That's it for this project. Thank you guys so much for watching.
