Snowfall White Paint for Bathroom
Looking for the perfect white? Design expert Maria Killam says: First examine your room’s existing finishes (floors, counters, furniture). Your white should coordinate with these, not fight them! Skip tiny swatches - paint a full wall to test. Remember: true whites need lots of natural light and white furnishings to work, while rooms with beige or grey elements might need a complex cream or greige instead. Always check your white in both natural and artificial light. #interiordesign #paint

Can I have a dark white?
I’m telling you that your client’s colour requests are about to become MUCH more complicated than, “paint it all white!” For example, how do you interpret their request for a “warm neutral”, a “dark white”, or an “earthier charcoal”? These are the kinds of requests we are seeing daily in my eDesign department.
What about white accent tiles?
White wavy tile belongs in a super modern bathroom and frankly I’ve never seen them installed where I think they look good except for in those inspiration images you included in your email (above and below), so if your bathroom is identical to these images, then maybe it could work. It’s rare that an inspiration image translates to a beautiful bathroom in real life. Boring now = timeless later!
How to work with white in your bathroom design
The trouble is there are really only a handful of elements to play with in a bathroom, so they all need to perfectly coordinate and balance each other. Because when the balance is a bit off, it will bother you.
Why you need to alternate contrast in your white bathroom design
Alternating contrast is important to remember when you are choosing finishes. You can see that in this bathroom the floors are grey or in the grey world and the wainscotting is a crisp white that relates to the bathroom fixtures and white shower tile.
