Paul & Jane ( Home Renovations | Interiors | DIY ) 📍Surrey, UK on Instagram: "Our two favourite panelling ‘tricks’ - mitre shears & an offcut spacer! ✨ We cut all of our small panels using mitre shears we picked up on @amazonuk. We will link them in Stories. They are great at cutting small sections of panelling which as those used in this reel. Anything bigger and they are likely to struggle. And secondly, our favourite spacer trick. We prefer a 10cm gap around all the sides of our panelling. The easiest way we’ve found to achieve this is to cut a 10cm width piece of off cut skirting, MDF, whatever you have…and run it along the skirting board or dado rail to create an equal distance of 10cm all along.
