@dracyab

An artist of some kind, walking through time with no sense of its direction. I convinced Dante Basco to read Homestuck 2.

This might be a post without an audience but today a third party book I love got out onto D&D Beyond... partially...

The book is Valda's Spire of Secrets and what's cool about it is it's an absolutely MASSIVE expansion to 5e! it features like 80 subclasses, 12 new classes, 6 or something races, like a hundred spells and tons of magic items! it's awesome! I totally recommend checking the book out!

But the D&D Beyond players pack for it is just a fucking scam.

I understand this probably an issue with D&D Beyond and Wizards of the Coast not Mage Hand Press themselves, however; You can buy entire books of content on D&D Beyond for $30-40. Granted, Valda's has a lot more content than the average book, but still, I don't want to be nickel and dimed into buying 5% of a book for $15 when I can get entire books for 30.

I understood when they cut Heliana's Guide To Monster Hunting in two considering the sheer size of it, that made sense.

I could understand cutting Valda's into 2 or 3 parts, but dividing it into this small of a chunk is insane. With the amount of content in the book it would take around 12 supplements and almost $200 to get the full book on D&D Beyond, which is frankly absurd.

The physical book when it's Kickstarter was running was around $50 American and I have it. I'm not going to pay 4x that price for it on D&D Beyond.

Anyway that's my ted talk about how pissed off I am at D&D Beyond.

Avatar

oh... i have no idea, i can never tell brands apart in terms of flavor. but i really like bbq sauce so let's say i love all of them equally :P <3

Avatar

That's fair! I can tell them apart but usually most bbq sauce is pretty good on the rare occasions I eat it! I do have a vendetta against Heinz and Kraft bbq sauce though...

btw, I love that Fire Emblem Three Houses comic you did waaaay back. it was beautiful, as is all the art of yours I see!

I'll make sure you're properly added to the archives this time.

THERE'S AN ARCHIVE???

Yes, and your answer has now been recorded into it. Dante Basco is there too. He's not sure wha this favourite is but he likes Sweet Baby Ray's.

One of my disciples also got Hussie Hints a while back. (sweet bro and hella jeff bbq sauce)

Yk what. What's YOUR favorite BBQ sauce?

So there's this one artist I've talked to extensively. His name is Dr. Jamie Hilder. I went to weekly lectures he gave and would talk to him after and after several months asked what his favourite brand of BBQ sauce was. He said that he makes me own and likes one particular recipe. Then during his final lecture for the year me and others made a 3 course meal to eat during it (we offered him some of course).

and so this is my favourite brand of BBQ sauce

How many people do you have in the barbecue sauce spreadsheet?

I need to know.

Avatar

I actually keep it as a Google doc despite a Google sheet probably being better

There's 111 different people on the document that have at least some vague level of popularity or fame

This ranges from people like the daily half life 3 guy to Joe Biden. Then I also have like all my friends and some random ass people in separate ranks at the bottom.

God I have to become popular in this life to climb the bbq sauce ranks like matches in mortal kombat. And then dracyan can brag that she knows a celeb. But most importantly ill be a celeb on a bbq sauce list

I love the bbq sauce list

what's your favourite brand of bbq sauce, I don't think I have you on the doc rn actually.

Is it possible to read this magical document.

Here's a small snippet from the A-Rank (everyone is ranked by how well known they are on the document.) I may share more once I feel there is enough on the document.
