Introducing "Growing Together: Farmer's Stories" by eAgronom 🌱 We're excited to launch a new blog series dedicated to the lives, challenges, and inspiring philosophies of the farmers who nourish our communities. In "Growing Together: Farmer’s Stories," we delve deep into the personal stories of farmers from diverse backgrounds, bringing you closer to the fields, farms, and everyday realities of those who dedicate their lives to this essential work. Each story captures the resilience, adaptability, and community spirit that defines modern agriculture. Our goal? To bridge the gap between consumers, businesses from other industries, and the agricultural world, offering a glimpse into the dedication it takes to bring food and resources to our tables. And for fellow farmers and enthusiasts, we hope this series becomes a source of shared ideas, new insights, and mutual inspiration. Our first story features Farmer Tõnis (Tõnis Soopalu) – a testament to hard work and innovation in farming. The rest of the story is available from the link under the comments section. 👇 Let’s grow together! 🌱

About us
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 Today, farming accounts for 15% of global greenhouse gas emissions, but we believe it could become carbon neutral. eAgronom helps farmers generate additional revenue streams, improve soil quality, and access better financing. We bring together world-class experts from IT, agronomy, and environmental sciences to help farmers return carbon back into the soil, grow crops sustainably and profitably while leading the world toward cleaner nature and healthier food. eAgronom 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 allows farmers to get paid for creating Carbon Credits, improve the quality of their soil, reduce the cost of inputs and get access to better financing terms. All together, making carbon-neutral farming profitable. We also help food companies to implement value chain projects and measure their impact. 📢 💡 We had another very entertaining and informative event in Estonia, where local farmer Tõnis Soopalu started the day with sharing his experiences with the Carbon Program and implementing sustainable farming practices so far. Later, we held workshops on his field and presented the results of our trials with different cover crop mixtures. 📌 ☘ The day featured also a number of other interesting presentations from top experts on topics such as assessing the carbon footprint from a farmer's perspective, future opportunities for farmers to generate additional income inside the food industry value chain, key prerequisites for regenerative agriculture, and the importance of controlled traffic farming. These are all important issues for farmers and the farming community. Big thanks to Scandagra Estonia, Linas Agro Estonia, Agrotrade, Baltic Agro Estonia, Viru Seeme, Agripartner, Multiva eCerex and METK - Centre of Estonian Rural Research and Knowledge / Maaelu Teadmuskeskus for co-organizing the event. 🌞 Field days have a unique energy, and nothing compares to the connections we build when meeting farmers 👨🌾👩🌾 face-to-face. Our recent event, Plon Fest in Poland, was no exception. A special thank you to our partner, Top Nasiona, for helping make this event a success! 📽 Sometimes words are not enough, so let the video speak for itself what a great atmosphere we had.👇 #fieldday #poland #regenrativefarming #topnasiona #eagronom #soilhealth #covercrop #carbonfarming #fieldtrials

⏰ 📢 It is well known that agriculture is one of the main sources of greenhouse gas emissions worldwide, but we all need to eat something. 💁♂️ We have opportunities to improve this through agricultural value chain projects that can reduce emissions already at farm level. Kristjan Luha, co-founder of eAgronom and Head of Value Chain Partnerships, explains about how Scope 3 programmes can help reduce agriculture's carbon footprint and the benefits it brings to farmers and the whole food industy. 👨🌾👩🌾 #regenerativeagriculture #foodindustry #foodcompany #scope3 #suppychain #carbonfootprint #carbonfarming #soilhealth #GHG #SBTi #FLAG

If tractors and their drilling equipment had a fashion show, it might look something like this. 🚜 👇 Last week, we held eAgronom Direct Drilling Demo Day event to sow a wheat trial using direct drilling equipment from various manufacturers. Time will tell which of them performed best. 💪 📣 We had over 200 farmers, 11 drills, and 1 straw harrow, all demonstrating their capabilities. The live demonstrations were expertly narrated by one of our most experienced senior agronomical advisers, Simon Boughton, alongside distinguished agricultural machinery expert Alexander Schierholz-Prilop. #directdrilling #agriculturemachinery #soilhealth #carbonprogram #eagronom #regenerativeagriculture #farming #carbonfarming

Where we stand with the climate change - https://lnkd.in/dPXemFgG 1. The situation is very bad - we are close to the tipping point and extreme climate catastrophe 🤒 2. 2024 wildfires in Greece, Portugal, etc. --> We will be remembering 2024 as a mild year in terms of climate catastrophes compared to the ones that are ahead of us 🔥 3. 17% of GDP will be lost due to climate change if no action! Much more than it would cost to reach net zero… 💰 At eAgronom, we can not solve it all... but we can build a scalable business model that incentivizes the adoption of regenerative farming practices and is a precondition for net zero food production 👩🌾

♻ Taking action today is crucial for a sustainable future. Carbon credits are revolutionizing climate action by funding diverse projects worldwide. These initiatives not only reduce emissions but also offer benefits to the local community and ecosystem protection. 🌱 As John Kerry, USA’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, notes, the voluntary carbon market could become "the largest marketplace the world has ever known." 🌏 💡 We suggest you read this insightful and well-summarized article from BeZero Carbon if you want to know more about how carbon projects already impact our society. #ClimateAction #Sustainability #CarbonCredits #ClimateAction #Sustainability #CarbonOffsetting

👨🌾 👩🌾 Last week, eAgronom agronomists participated with our farmers' group in the traditional Groundswell Agriculture - The Regenerative Agriculture Festival in the UK. Among other places, they visited Bartlow Estate Farm, a cereal and sugar beet farm near Cambridge. The farm has achieved a remarkable result - it is able to harvest crops on an area of about 2000 ha (about 4000 acres) with a single combine harvester. 💪 🚜 We are always happy to acquire new knowledge with our farmers! #eagronom #groundswell #carbonfarming #regenerativeagriculture #agronomy #soilhealth

NEWS 📣 We are very excited to announce that Swedbank has joined us as lead investor in the A2 investment round, together with additional investments from Soulmates Ventures, Icos Capital and SmartCap. Robin Saluoks, co-founder and CEO of eAgronom, says: “The average farmer has only 40 harvests to experiment with throughout their entire career. This makes the farming sector extremely conservative. If something is more or less working then it makes sense to continue with it. eAgronom’s sustainability programs - food value chain/scope 3, offsetting, sustainable finance, and others - help to reduce the risk for farmers by providing extra incentives and education. The ongoing funding round will help us to scale these initiatives to many more farmers.” 👨🌾 👩🌾 🚜 #eagronom #regenerativeagriculture #carbonfarming #soilhealth #sustainablefarming #carbonprogram #swedbank #soulmatesventures #icoscapital #smartcap
