lets talk about twitter likes and why we don't like them.

i mean obviously the algorithm right. but then again even if it was strictly chronological i wouldn't like it either. i hate the feeling of mine and everyone elses posts just kinda flying into the nether. if you really liked someone's post or artwork on a twitter-like and you want to find it again? good luck bc theres no tags lol and adding tags into the body of the post is really annolying it feels like those instagram captions that put 10000 tags into the bottom of the body of the post. ITS UGLY .

posting on twitterlikes feels like this basically. there's no "oh let me check out their art tag or their oc tags etc" there's no "let me get one of my old posts and rb it again"

#tagging is the most fun i have on tumblr because i loveee to sort stuff#closest i seen any other social media do this is like facebook where they're like “hey remember this old thing?” randomly#but thats far from what I want. rlly tumblrs the only one 4 me#untagged

The White House bragging about how many different countries have reached out to negotiate in response to the tariffs reminds me of that part of Disco Elysium where you have the option to put a loaded gun in your mouth and threaten to pull the trigger as a negotiating tactic. It is certainly one way to start a conversation!
