The 2011 Super League Malaysia was the 8th season of the highest Malaysian football league since its inception in 2004. Fourteen teams participated in the league, eleven state teams and three club teams, with Selangor FA as the defending champions.

Teams
Johor FA and Penang FA was relegated at the end of the 2010 season after finishing in 13th and 14th place respectively.
The two teams were replaced by Malaysia Premier League 2010 champion Felda United FC and runner-up Sabah FA.
These teams will be playing in the Malaysia Super League 2011 season.
