Ndam Njoya was briefly Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1969 to 1970. He joined the law faculty at the [[University of Yaoundé]] in 1970.<ref name=Gov/> (a post he still retains{{Citation needed|date=November 2007}}).
