Atlantic International University (AIU) is a distance learning university based in Hawaii.

AIU is not accredited by recognized United States accreditation agency, so its course credits and diplomas are not recognized by many U.S. universities and other institutions.[1] It is accredited by the UK Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC).[2] It has been characterized as a "degree mill",[3] and its degrees have been characterized as "fake".[4]
