Barauli State

"Barauli" is princly state of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is dynasty of BadgujarRajput community.Aligarh Exhibition Dalbar Hall's Marris Gate was built by Rani Khushal Kunwari of Barauli State.[1].The Barauli family of Badgujar in the Aligarh district trace theirorigin to Raja Rajdeo of Solar race,who ruled at Macheri.The grandson of Rajdeo married a sister of Prithirai and their son Raja Pratap Singh.[2]

Rao tile

The title of Rao comes from the time of Raja Pirthi Raj and is prefixed to the name of the eldest son. The title formed part of Rao Rajghuraj Singh's name as a courtesy, vide local Government order of 1908. In January, 1913, this title was made hereditary.[3]
