Ciechanowice

Ciechanowice [t͡ɕɛxanɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village (former mining town) in the administrative district of Gmina Marciszów, within Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1]

It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Kamienna Góra, and 79 kilometres (49 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.

History

After assumption of Polish rule in accordance with the Potsdame Agreement, the local populace was expelled by mid-1946, for new Polish settlers to take their place. [2]
