Hildur Krog: Difference between revisions

She was born in [[Modum]]. She took the [[dr.philos.]] degree in 1968 with a thesis on [[Alaska]]n [[lichen]]s, was hired as a curator at the Botanical Museum of Oslo in 1971 and served as professor at the [[University of Oslo]] from 1987 to 1992.<ref name=snl>{{cite encyclopedia|title=Hildur Krog|encyclopedia=[[Store norske leksikon]] |editor-last=Godal | editor-first=Anne Marit | editor-link=Anne Marit Godal |publisher=Norsk nettleksikon |location=Oslo |url=http://snl.no/Hildur_Krog|language=Norwegian|accessdate=16 November 2012}}</ref> For 15 year from 1969 she collaborated with the British amateur lichenologist [[Thomas Douglas Victor Swinscow|Dougal Swinscow]] to study the macrolichen flora of East Africa.
