Comminges began his career playing for [[Amiens SC]], breaking into the first-team during the [[2001–02 French Division 2|2001–02]] season. He joined [[Stade de Reims|Stade Reims]] of [[Ligue 2]] the following season, and spent four years with the club. In 2007, Comminges signedmoved to England, signing for [[Football League One]] side [[Swindon Town F.C.|Swindon Town]] on a one-year deal, after a succesful trial, and played regularly during the [[2007–08 in English football|2007–08]] season. When his contract expired, he signed for [[Football League Championship|Championship]] side [[Cardiff City F.C.|Cardiff City]] on a free transfer. During his time at Cardiff, Comminges was briefly loaned out to [[Carlisle United F.C.|Carlisle United]]. In January 2011, he left Cardiff and joined [[Southend United F.C.|Southend United]] on a free transfer for the remainder of the [[2010–11 in English football|2010–11]] campaign.
