'''Majestic Crest TheaterTheatre'''
is originally built in December 1940 as a “Westwood Village Theatre” to showcase live theater, designed by Architect Arthur W. Hawes, it became a venue for local residents to watch newsreels about the battles during World War II. Since January 2003, it has been operated by independent operator Robert Buckbaum, and has been renamed Majestic Crest Theatre. The [[City of Los Angeles]] designated it as a Historical Monument in 2008. In October 2010, it was taken over by Bigfoot Entertainment as a venue in which to screen mainstream independent releases and to showcase their own films.
