My recollection is that the Milky Way Galaxy was determined to be a barred spiral galaxy in the relatively recent past (maybe even in the current century), but there is nothing about this either in this article or in the article on [[barred spiral galaxy|barred spiral galaxies]]. I think something should be included about the time period when this was discovered. I putzed around a while in the notes trying to find a date or a source, but I couldn't locate one right away. Should not the [[Lead paragraph|lede]] the article correctly be worded as: "The Milky Way is the galaxy that contains '''<u>Earth's</u>''' Solar System." rather than "'''<u>our</u>''' Solar System."?
