Croatian?

Rosic is a Croatian name, but on this site, it says she's of Spanish, Italian and German descent. So, it is possible that her grand father was a German with a Croatian name, (croatian ancestry), who knows how distant this is.

Catalan?

Rosich is also a Catalan surname. I think it is more probable that her ancestors came from Catalonia, Spain. 96.236.213.217 (talk) 00:09, 16 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

The Rosich family is Puerto Rican descended from a Catalan settler and related to Miguel Rosich y Mass.RichardBond (talk) 08:55, 3 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Politics and business enterprises

Should there be an equally extensive section regarding Vanna White's political activities, view on global warming, contributions, etc? The authors felt it was significant enough to go into such detail regarding Pat Sajak. Don't women or non-conservatives deserve equal detail or scrutiny?

Same issue regading business ownership and entrepreneurial activities. The article for Pat Sajak covers quite a bit of detail regarding his non-television, non-movie business endeavors. In comparison, the Vanna White article is silent. If she is a business woman beyond her role on t.v., shouldn't the article cover this the way it is covered in the Sajak article? Uh, @Tesseract501, do you have any references that show that White has been outspoken about her political convictions, or has engaged in any entrepreneurial activities? If you do, is there something stopping you from adding it to the article? Any valid reason for you to claim that the information exists but is being suppressed? Let's make sure the facts support your premise before you accuse other editors of gender or political bias, please. General Ization Talk 19:12, 4 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Christopher George?

I'm changing the wording in this section. There's nothing to corroborate any relationship between Vanna White and Christopher George, but according to her, that's what her mother told her. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stembark (talkcontribs) 19:29, 4 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Her book "Vanna Speaks" indicates that Vanna's mother got to know George by working at a Myrtle Beach restaurant owned by George's parents (p. 26). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stembark (talkcontribs) 02:32, 10 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I assume this sentence "According to White, although George was not a biological relation of hers, her mother grew up with his family and, years later in Los Angeles, he and his wife took her under their wing." means they took Vanna White under their wing and not her mother but it isn't clear. 94.126.214.30 (talk) 17:02, 25 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Preview Photo

Please see how VW's photo is presented in a preview pane.

For example, go to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_Didn%27t_Start_the_Fire and hover over her name.

I'm only seeing her torso.

Incomplete sentence

It looks like someone's added this incomplete sentence to the "Television, motion picture, and other media appearances" section:

Goddess of Love, in which she played Venus; Betsy Palmer co-starred as Juno; it scored 12% of the Audience Vote on Rotten Tomatoes.

I don't know what it means, or I'd fix it. – AndyFielding (talk) 08:59, 9 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
