Yanchev was also assistant manager of [[PFC CSKA Sofia|CSKA Sofia]] when he played for the team in 2012–13 season and later in 2014–15 season. After he retired in the summer of 2015, he became manager of the newly founded team [[FC Tsarsko Selo|Tsarsko Selo]] in the [[Regional Football Groups|A Regional Group]].
