In fall of 2019, the University of Kentucky opened another regional 4- year medical school campus in [[Northern Kentucky]], as part of a partnership with [[St. Elizabeth Healthcare (Kentucky)]] and [[Northern Kentucky University]]. On January 29, 2021, the University of Kentucky announced a "significant partnership" between King's Daughters Medical Center in [[Ashland, Kentucky|Ashland]] and [[UK HealthCare]].
