I reverted you on this at the Virginity article. That first line that says "For example, in some Islamic cultures, though premarital sex is forbidden in the Quran with regard to both men and women, unmarried women who have been sexually active or even raped are subject to name-calling, shunning, or family shame, while unmarried men who have lost their virginities are not." is true and is supported by a WP:Reliable source. Reliable sources are what we go by here, not personal opinion, per WP:Verifiability. That second line that said "Cross-culturally, males are expected and/or encouraged to want to engage in sexual activity, and to be more sexually-experienced." was not talking about Islamic cultures, at least not specifically. It was talking about society in general, which is why it said "Cross-culturally." This is also supported by reliable sources in the article, and your removal of it made the fllowingfollowing sentence lack sense, since it says "Not following these standards often leads to teasing and other such ridicule from their male peers." But I changed the beginning of the previous linesentence from "cross-culturally" to "Among various countries or cultures" to make it clearer that it'sthis particular line is not about Islamic cultures, or at least not only about them.
