William Dalrymple (11 October 1678 – 30 November 1744) was a Scottish politician. He served as Commissioner for Ayrshire to the Parliament of Scotland, and as Member of Parliament (MP) in the Parliament of Great Britain.
He was one of the Scottish representatives to the first Parliament of Great Britain from 1707 to 1708, then MP for Clackmannanshire from 1708 to 1710, for Wigtown Burghs 1722–1727 and Wigtownshire 1727–1741.[1]
