English: Japanese 5 yen bill (reverse side) showing Japanese military cancellation marks for use in occupied China. The red ink is used to cross out wording/seals that were originally added by the Bank of Japan as these notes were meant for civilian circulation. Later bills omit the features that are crossed out.
