English: A young warrior wearing a corslet over a short tunic supports a shield with his left hand and receives (or hands over) a crested helmet from a seated bearded figure wearing tunic and cloak and supporting a long staff. A bear or dog stands beneath the throne. Central panel from the north side of Kybernis' tomb, acropolis of Xanthos in Lycia, ca. 480 BC.
Français : Un jeune guerrier portant une cuirasse sur une tunique courte tient de la main gauche un bouclier et de l'autre, reçoit (ou donne) un casque à cimier de la part d'un personnage barbu et assis, portant tunique et manteau et muni d'un long bâton. Sous le trône, un ours ou un chien. Panneau central du côté nord de la tombe de Kybernis sur l'Acropole de Xanthos, vers 480 av. J.-C.
