Does Royal Mail consider SW1A, SW1P, SW1V etc. as separate postcode districts in their own right, or as mere subdivisions of the SW1 district? Might be worth starting a discussion here... Anyway, tidied the lead further, and pointed out that the SW area is the only one within the London post town to lie on both sides of the Thames
