A.O.Smith - EPC division

edit

A.O.Smith has another division called A.O.Smith electric products company (EPC for short) which is not listed in this article. The EPC headquarter lies in Tipp City, Ohio. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RexWang (talkcontribs) 03:23, 2 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

State Industries, Inc.

edit

State Industries was NOT a state-owned enterprise; that was rather its name. It was a private business, based in Nashville, Tennessee until the early 1960s and then moved to the Nashville exurb of Ashland City, Tennessee. It was originally known as "State Stove Co." and was often called that; by the time of its move to Ashland City its product line consisted entirely of water heaters, and was one of the originators of the "self cleaning" feature. Its former plant, now owned by A. O. Smith, flooded very badly in the Nashville flood (2010) but has since re-opened. 75.246.12.46 (talk) 23:50, 11 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I've started a new version of the article at Talk:A. O. Smith/Temp to replace the one with copyright issues from 2007-11-27 to 2012-09-18. Non-marketing additions welcome. --Closeapple (talk) 05:04, 19 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

John Wood brand

edit

The statement that this company owns the John Wood brand is in apparent contradiction with the Rheem Manufacturing Company page, which states that that company acquired John Wood in 1931. Wikimikef (talk) 00:48, 17 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
