Brahe did not write De Nova Stella, Kepler did.

Update pronuncation guide

edit

It seems like the pronunciation of the leading syllable of Tycho should be changed from "tie" to "tea". This is a more accurate pronunciation which matches the spoken pronunciation from footnote "a" which has a recording of the pronunciation. Another possible pronunciation of this syllable could be the "ti" from "tick". Technochocolate (talk) 17:30, 9 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I think that's the Dutch pronunciation? The Danish pronunciation is more like too-go. Waylah (talk) 21:49, 7 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Why did he have half his head shaved?

edit

There is much discussion about Tycho Brahe's nose, but why did he have half his head shaved, as in the picture to this article? That looks almost like something out of punk rock, or Mad Max movies.
