The full name of the temple, Wat Den Sali Si Muang Kan, is not commonly used. Instead, Wat Ban Den appears to be a shortened version that is widely used by Thai media. Therefore, I have chosen to use it. ManoiCMU (talk) 10:49, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
The name of the village is not given in the article. It is Ban Den, one of the 19 villages in the Inthakhin subdistrict of the Mae Taeng district. My guess is that the name of the location was the reason to use it for a short name for the temple. So, Wat Ban Den means the temple of Ban Den. But its official name is Wat Den Sali Si Muang Kan. Maybe some explanation about this could be included in the article. --FredTC (talk) 01:22, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
