Hi! I'm Costatitanica. I'm working on putting up a user page with those fancy labels. One of these days...
My wiki philosophy
editI'm more or less an Inclusionist , with a slant toward preferring a minimum of of verbiage in the article- a short quote or so, and a maximum of footnotes. That's basically what I come to Wikipedia for: I want as panoramic a snapshot of the subject I'm reading up on as possible with the choice to zoom in on one of the links if I like. I also prefer a more detailed and organized table of contents so that in case I'm only interested in a particular point, I'm able to to do so without having to comb through the whole article.
A Suggestion for Wikipedia
editI think it would be a good idea if all pages that have been edited within the last 24 hours were clearly marked as such at the top of the page. I think that much vandalism could be spotted and removed that way. It might also stimulate more people to edit as well, as they realize the dynamic nature of Wikipedia.
Some Pages that really need work
editWhatever your view of the book, it seems ridiculous that it's contents are barely covered. Mein Kampf gets better treatment.
He's too interesting a character to have such an un-sourced and low quality wiki page.
Completely unintelligible. I could barely stand to read it. If someone was trying produce a garbled article, they succeeded magnificently Someone needs to sort out the info and put them into their proper sections.
