@141.131.2.3: Just to let you know...what BeenAround has accused you of - a misleading edit summary - he does himself. Look at https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Typewriter&diff=771455917&oldid=771455760. He deleted an Estonian band from the music section, but in the summary he cited the reason as "Puffery". I had questioned this deletion at the Teahouse, and was told the reason didn't fit and that I should question BeenAround myself. Why bother, I figured. I already knew that he plays by one set of rules, but tries to enforce another set of rules on everyone else. Sorry you crossed paths with him. Phatblackmama (talk) 05:19, 21 July 2017 (UTC)

As poorly formatted as that article was, it does appear to be correct that does links were intended as refs. This [2] explicitly says "Adding or removing transistors and interconnect on rubylith was definitely a manual task" and "The coordinates and lengths had to be measured and transferred by hand to the cutter." which seems to support the claim in our article "Initially rubylith was manually separated". This [3] says "By 1966 James Koford and his colleagues at IBM Fishkill were capturing SLT hybrid circuit module (1964 Milestone) designs on graphical displays, checking them for errors and automatically converting the information into mask patterns" which seems to support the claim "direct computer output at the initial stages of the CAD revolution". To be fair, the bit about "later automated via diamond-tip equipped x-y drafting machines driven by NC tape systems" does seem to be unsupported, the closest is "Later, a Xynetics plotter with knives, instead of pens, was used to cut more quickly and precisely." which doesn't say anything about diamond tipped or NC tape systems.
