WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages

edit

Thank you for your recent articles, including Volodymyr Potulnytskyi, which I read with interest. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. For example, WikiProject Poland relies on such templates to generate listings such as Article Alerts, Popular Pages, Quality and Importance Matrix and the Cleanup Listing. Thanks to them, WikiProject members are more easily able to defend your work from deletion, or simply help try to improve it further. Feel free to ask me any questions if you'd like more information about using those talk page templates. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:34, 7 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve List of libraries in Bulgaria

edit

Thanks for creating List of libraries in Bulgaria.

A New Page Patroller Boleyn just tagged the page as having some issues to fix, and wrote this note for you:

Please add references.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can reply over here and ping me. Or, for broader editing help, you can talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Big Floppa

edit

Because the person who did it didn't have the courtesy to actually notify us, I'm just dropping by to inform you that a single-edit account de-PRODed the Big Floppa article. Happy editing. SilverTiger12 (talk) 15:36, 14 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Update: I've now nominated it for deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Big Floppa. SilverTiger12 (talk) 15:50, 14 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Wikibusiness

edit

Good evening, Anntinomy. I saw your request to check Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bodiadub and I would like you to pay attention to some more accounts that are similar to Wikibusiness. The accounts Kolburor, CesarNS1980, JelLoenita, Tsans2, and Baker Pumpkin most likely belong to Wikibusiness. They all work on Tamaz Somkhishvili's pages in English, Russian and Ukrainian Wikipedia. First, there is a request for verification Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Kolburor from User:MER-C regarding these accounts. Second, I will describe a specific case, I would like to draw your attention. After Tsans2 account was blocked on June 22nd the user JeILoenita who is mentioned in the Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Kolburor and who created Tamaz Somkhishvili's page [1] returned on June 23rd after a two-month absence [2]. Tamaz Somkhishvili's page has been secured and it can be edited by users who have 500 edits. From 23 to 28 June user JeILoenita actively edits the pages to reach 500 edits and on 28 June he edits the Somkhishvili page again [3]. You also described an example of systematic discrediting of a Ukrainian Wikipedia administrator. After I detected suspicious activity on Tamaz Somkhishvili's pages, they started discrediting me by creating an Alex Oleksienko account, which is supposedly mine. They hastily edited this account in one day. And now they are trying to pass off this account as mine. Therefore, I ask you to deal with this issue. Mykytal (talk) 23:27, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Undo for Razom

edit

@Anntinomy, your undo for a recent edit of the Razom article with a "vandalism" label seems overboard. Please look at the talk page, the edit you undid is explained, and your undo is not. I am tempted to undo your undo, but perhaps we can reason it out. To restate, the CoI label is very old, the warning asked for a rewrite, and the article has changed a lot since the warning. The edit you undid seems legit and certainly not vandalism.

Please explain and/or reconsider. Thank you. Qq8 (talk) 05:31, 13 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
