Stuart Douglas is an author, editor and publisher who was born in and still lives in Edinburgh. Douglas is the founder of multi award-winning British publisher Obverse Books.
He has written four Sherlock Holmes novels for Titan Books and has a new mystery series coming out in 2024 with the first title Death at the Dress Rehearsal.

Douglas has written four very well received Sherlock Holmes pastice novels for Titan books.

In November 2023, Titan Books announced Douglas' new series of mystery novels which will begin with the first instalment Death at the Dress Rehearsal coming out in June 2024.

Obverse Books
Douglas founded the multi-award winning publisher Obverse Books in 2008. This began with books about the character Iris Wildthyme and is now best known as the publisher of The Black Archive.
