Diego Callai Silva (born 18 July 2004) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Feirense on loan from Primeira Liga club Sporting CP.

Club career

A youth product of the Brazilian club Juventude, Callai moved to the youth academy of [Sporting CP]] in 2015. On 23 July 2020, he signed his first professional contract with Sporting and was promoted to Sporting CP B in 2021.[1] In the summer of 2021, he joined the senior team during preseason and was promoted as their third goalkeeper.[2] On 22 April 2022, he extended his contract with Sporting CP until 2027.[3] On 11 January 2024, he joined Feirense on loan in the Liga Portugal 2.[4]

Personal life

Callai is the son of the Brazilian former goalkeeper Diego Costa Silva.[5] He holds Brazilian, Italian and Portuguese nationalities.[6]
