Samuel Garang Dut Thiangdit (born on 1 January 1988 ) is a South Sudanese politician, activist and academician. He became well known for his activism. Former governor H. E Tong Akeen Ngor[1] arrested Samuel Garang several times. Simon Uber Mawut appointed Samuel Garang Dut as Deputy Commissioner for State Revenue Authority for administration and finance in Northern Bhar el Ghazal.[2]

Education

Garang Dut started his education in Aweil Center County, Bau Primary School in 1998-2005. 2007— 2011,[3] he joined Rumbek National Secondary School for his secondary education. He was admitted to Catholic University of South Sudan in 2016—2019 for a diploma program.[4] Months later, he enrolled for bachelor degree program at University of Juba where he majored in business administration.[5]

Work experiences

He served as a civil servant and in government of Northern Bhar el Ghazal. He worked as a humanitarian worker in many organisations in the state. Recently, he is serving his state as Deputy Commissioner of State Revenue Authority in Northern Bhar el Ghazal state Aweil.[2]
