This is incorrect as the Blue Lantern was first published in 1980 by Daniel Hatem and can be verified by review of the Boston College Heights Newspaper of 1980 with three publications of the comic strip featuring the Blue Lantern. Somebody keeps reverting this correction without review or documentation. I have 2000 student witnesses. I know it is not broad distribution, but it was published and is in the heights archive and WAS published.
