During the 1970s and 1980s Ziyang works manufactured the diesel hydraulic locomotive types [[China Railways DFH2]], [[China Railways DFH4|DHF4]], [[China Railways DFH5|DFH5]], [[China Railways DFH6|DFH6]] and [[China Railways DFH7|DFH7]].
