On Monday, 1 April 1996, STAR TV official took to sell the remaining 50% shares of CETV Family Channel to Time Warner until CETV Family Channel was officially full controlled 100% by Time Warner until now.

On Tuesday, 1 January 2002, CETV Family Channel was renamed as China Entertainment Satellite Television Broadcast Limited (Chinese: 華娛衛視廣播有限公司 (華娛衛視娛樂台 or 華娛衛視)) was commonly abbreviated as CETV Entertainment Channel.

On Saturday, 18 May 2013, Indika Group via Indika Television Network authorized to buy a 50% stake in CETV Entertainment Channel at this point the programming was similar to that of NET. and used some of their news programmes until they could produce their own.

CETV was simulcasted NET News a Indonesian news programmes with courtesy of NET a Indonesian free-to-air terrestrial television stations.

Transmission

Transmits Chinese and Cantonese programming from 06:00 until 02:00 HKT (in Indonesia at 05:00 until 01:00 WIB) were purchased from ATV's Cantonese Channel as an author series "A Cruel Lover (郎心如鐵)" which is displayed in Chiese.
