chengalpattu Kolavai Lake is kancheepuram district "chengalpattu" is located near the lake. It is the second largest lake in the district and madurantakam lake is noted as number one.

Location

The lack is located about 60 km from Chennai. It takes about 1 hour from chennai to the lake.

Transport

It is near to paranuur Railway station, and Chengalpattu Railway Station series. All trains are in operation via south Tamil Nadu.

position

This is always full of water, the water is often sometime reduce't. Because of so many Industries coming up, that area is over occupied.

Application

Due to water shortage in summer in chennai water tankers are forced to collect water from lake.

Tourist Place

The Houseboat is driven continuously from 9am to 6pm.
