Untitled

In the encyclopedia page on Dorian Baxter, a misleading sentence has been placed about him under "Controversy": It suggests that he was dismissed from the Anglican Church because of suspicious circumstances or improper conduct. Nothing could be further from the truth. He was falsely charged by the Children's Aid Society, had to fight through eight years of court battles at $ 400,000 legal fees, finally was totally exonerated and saw the real perpetrators of the crimes arrested and imprisoned. (This legal struggle was the longest in Ontario Court history; full details are available in court records.) His steadfast battle to prove his innocence and his subsequent crusade on behalf of all parents falsely accused of wrong-doing have been an inspiration and an important part of his Christian ministry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hugh MacDonald (talkcontribs)

Battle with CAS

I agree with Outbackthekoala about the material added by DAB as being presented with weasel language, but think it should be added back minus the POV slant. This lawsuit was one of the most important for exposing misbehavior by CAS and since it lasted 11 years it spans a good section of this man's life. It is probably worthy of its own section.Daffydavid (talk) 04:49, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree this new info can be included, but it would have to be completely rewritten. I didn't agree with anything the user tried to remove with no explaination, so at this point we should add in this new material, while not removing anything including references already provided.
