I am an ethnic Mari person. From my 26 years I can remember a lot of suicides which occurred at my grandma's village. As it can be true that pick of suicides was for depressive years and I don't remember much of them for good years. It didn't explain why my cousin did it 3 years ago and neighbor's son at last year (I live far away now and know only about relative cases). If consider that latest years for Russia were not good. It still not explain why I know only suicides from my father side. I am half Russian and my family on south of Russia much bigger (honestly much more poor). But I never heard any case of suicide from there. Moreover when I heard suicide of Mari it's one more case. When I hear about suicide of any person from other circle it's something exceptional.
So far I had couple of cousines who did it. I mean close people only! From my father I heard that "Mari people like to do it". And he knew before depressive 90s for Russia. I can go through village and mention who did it for every house there in last 30 years!
I was really wondered to see mention about it in English but not in Russian. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pet92 (talk • contribs) 01:46, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
