Born in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood, he later went on to make short films and videos before quickly dropping out of Massachusetts College of Art. After a couple years as a multi-instrumentalist for Boston group [[The Tori Spelling Fiasco]], he went on to collaborate with [[Dustmuffin & the Aluminum Cans]] before directing and starring in his first feature film: [[Jack]].
