Pacific Marine Credit Union (PMCU) is a not-for-profit financial institution that is chartered and regulated under the authority of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) of the U.S. federal government.

PMCU is based in Southern California with branch locations in Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, San Diego, Temecula, Barstow, and Yucca Valley. They also have branches aboard MCB Camp Pendleton, MCRD San Diego, and MCAGCC 29-Palms [1].

Membership

Pacific Marine Credit Union is owned and governed by its members. To qualify for membership you must live, work, or worship in San Diego County, Riverside County, or San Bernardino County, or be an immediate family member of a current PMCU member[2]. Also, per the NCUA's bylaw of "once a member, always a member" membership with PMCU may continue should the member decide to relocate.


Services

As a financial cooperative, PMCU members have access to nearly 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide, 9,000+ of which are deposit taking[3]. In addition, PMCU members are welcome at nearly 5,000 credit union branches and over 2,000 self-service locations through shared branching[4].
