[[Axeman 10]] says: I didn't vandalize [[AC/DC]]'s page, they did perform a song called "[[Big Balls]]", it was released in 1976, but they did perform it at that concert in 1979, i didn't make an inappropriate edit at all, do you even know anything about AC/DC?? I really don't care, ban be, i've done nothing wrong and i'll just change my IP Address and get a new account if it comes down to it, so ban me and continue to live in your little fairytale land if it makes you feel more important.

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot (talk) 18:53, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's fine. I just mostly wanted the quick-revert tool - any way I can use that w/o being an admin?

I will check out the pages you linked me to and will be sure to contact you about WP:COACH if I want to try to be an admin again. Thanks for the generous offer & kind advice. --AlanH (talk) 15:40, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your NPWatcher application

Dear Scarian,

Thank you for applying for NPWatcher! Unfortunately, your application has been declined because you've made only a handful of CSD in December, and not many even earlier, and the denied request are, unfortunately, too many compared to the sum of your nominations. As such, I am uncomfortable in favourably processing your application. We will surely welcome an application in the future.

Ah, and many thanks for reminding me of the backlog, I definitively forgot about it :) Good luck, Snowolf How can I help? 21:51, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RfA thanks

Thank you for voting in my RfA, which I withdrew with 5 support, 14 oppose, and 9 neutral. Thank you for your comments! Whether it was a support, oppose, or neutral, I likely got some good feedback from you. I will probably do another RfA in the future, but not until I work out the issues brought up.

Need a project?

Follow my lead actually Antandrus's but... y'know :D 156.34.142.110 (talk) 17:04, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just that one article. By my edit summary. An international subject should never have a national cat. A "nationalist" is trying to claim that article for his own country. It is clearly an international subject and should never be linked to any one particular country. Their are probably more pages like this one. This is the only one I am watchlisting. 156.34.142.110 (talk) 19:22, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User name

I am not vandalizing. You don't even know what trivia or verifiable means, why do you continue vandalizing my edits??? --82.185.106.178 (talk) 16:27, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I already explained my edits. I can't understand why the section which I added is thought to be trivia, while the information which I removed is not. --82.185.106.178 (talk) 07:44, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your opinion

This edit (read the edit summary carefully) is Libs pushing the limits of WP:BOLD and exposing Libsy's "plus grande nads" to all Wiki and seeing just how long it takes a logo crufter to rv the edit. I believe, based on both the policy and the long overdue discussion on it... that the edit is a valid one. Wikipedia, by it's own mandate, is to be a free encyclopedia promoting free-use content when/wherever possible. You just cannot get any more free-use than plain text. Most bands copyright their logos and therefore using them requires well worded fair-use rationale. And if free-use always wins out over fair-use... I think my edit summary is noble, just and true. Time will tell. Do you agree? Do you disagree? Do you have a third opinion. I would be most interested in finding out. And I invite you to go ahead and invite anyone you wish into the conversation. Perhaps the discussion can be moved to my static IP page where it can be an informal chat... rather than a discussion... leading to consensus... leading to guidelines... leading to policies... and all that other Wiki-crap :D . Does free-use always win? I think Wikipedia was built on the foundation of "free-use". What are your thoughts? 156.34.225.75 (talk) 01:41, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The discussion continues on both the template page and the WP:MUSIC page. It's really hitting the nail on the head. Wikipedia is for everyone... and free-use always wins out over fair-use. I could have picked any article as a test(I actually did the same test on the Def Leppard article a few weeks ago and it was reverted by a crufter) The Iron Maiden logo does in fact have a very good chance at "fair-use" placement right in the text of the article. Unlike other bands that have their logos corporate designed by record labels' PR departments... Iron Maiden's logo was hand drawn/han designed by Steve Harris very early in the bands career. He had the logo before he had a stable lineup of the band itself. That is an interesting bit of the bands history and the logo could be added in right along with it.... TaDa.... fair-use. Navlos and his school chum are the ones who up'd all the logos and they're the one's who are going to 'racing stripe their diapers' when they see Wikipedia start to eliminate all their hard work. I feel so bad about that :D . 156.34.213.216 (talk) 11:38, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unfair deletion

Hi there, I see you keep posting a COI on the Rusty Eye article (and now the user Chubbles is threatening to delete it). The page looks fine to me, but if you wish to contribute to provide a "Neutral Point of View", you are more than welcome to do so. For more reliable information, you can contact the PR guy link DMPR or just search thoroughly on the web. There is plenty of good sources and articles around (Metal Edge, Music Connection, LA Times, Metal-Archives, UVTV, Moshking, Ytsejam, Scratch Magazine, Highwire Daze, Rock City News, Voltcase Magazine, All Music Guide, BlabberMouth.Net, Metalraw, Canedo Rock, etc.). If this continues to escalate, the page will be unfairly deleted. Thanks for your time and understanding. Rustyeye (talk) 01:27, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
