DYK for Women in Etruscan society

On 11 September 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Women in Etruscan society, which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that frescoes, sarcophagi, urns, and trousseaux found in the tombs of Etruscan women (bust pictured) show the important roles they played in society? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Women in Etruscan society. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Women in Etruscan society), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of PKS 1353–341

Hello JeBonSer,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged PKS 1353–341 for deletion, because it's a redirect that seems implausible or is an unlikely search term.

If you don't want PKS 1353–341 to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

I'm confused... shouldn't this be at PKS 1353-341, as in the article's introduction? SmartSE (talk) 17:43, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

November Articles for creation backlog drive

Hello JeBonSer:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than 2 months outstanding reviews from the current 4+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 November 2023 through 30 November 2023.

You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.

Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.

There is a backlog of over 1000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:24, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Retable of the Virgin of Montserrat

On 15 November 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Retable of the Virgin of Montserrat, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Retable of the Virgin of Montserrat (pictured) was commissioned by a merchant, perhaps as a sign of gratitude for his safe return from a shipwrecked journey from Savona to Valencia? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Retable of the Virgin of Montserrat. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Retable of the Virgin of Montserrat), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:40, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
