:You may have noticed from my user page that I have a good feel for good articles. I disagree for the reason stated on the GA/R page. The article was never officially promoted from what I can tell as well. I was kind not to delist it and then post it at GA/R.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 22:01, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Seasonal articles
Jaranda has taken it upon himself to redirect the articles 2006 Kansas City Royals season and 1980 Tampa Bay Buccaneers season. I've saved them and put the underconstruction tag on them, but enough has been said, he's going with the non-notable card. Just an FYI that he is trying to redirect them. Draft picks

Just wanted to let you know that there's a discussion on the talk page of the WikiProject Ice Hockey page about the format of draft picks pages; whether we should go with sortable tables (like the Colorado page which is up for FLC) or broken up by year (like the Devils page I'm working on in my sandbox). Feel free to chip in your $0.02. Also, my list of Carolina Panthers first-round draft picks is up for FLC; if you wanna check it out and offer any comments/support/hate lol I'd appreciate it, thanks. So what are you working on now that will no doubt become featured within a month, and do you need any help with it? Anthony Hit me up... 11:04, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stevens sounds like a plan. Do we have enough resources on him that we could make it FA? Brodeur wrote a book, so we used that as background info; we're gonna have to use interviews and websites to get stuff on Stevens. Also, I'm working on turning the Devils draft picks and players lists into featured lists; once we do, we can definitely turn the NJ Devils into a featured topic (team, Brodeur, draft picks, players... and hopefully Stevens). New York Yankees GA

I have failed the nomination you put in to promote the New York Yankees article to GA status. I have stated my reasons on the Yankees' talk page. I think the article has a lot of potential and would suggest that you put it up for peer review so that other editors can give their opinions and suggestions. Good luck. Do'h! Admittedly this was my first attempt at a Good Article review and I think I may have got it amazingly wrong (It wouldn't be the first time) and misunderstood how the whole operation works! Since my queries have been addressed you could relist the article and allow someone with a vague idea of what they're doing review it instead. Seeing as it was only listed today it shouldn't delay the whole process. :-D Many apologies. PanthersGirl 18:25, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just a little message of thanks for your great work in hockey articles, including Joe Sakic. Nice to see collaboration amongst differing fans. Jmlk17 06:18, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Same here...learn quite a bit around here sometimes! Perhaps the greatest goalie ever needs some help too ;). Jmlk17 06:39, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh definitely. I am planning on getting to it shortly, and think it could be brought up to a higher level quite easily. Jmlk17 06:48, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Either way, good luck, happy editing, and great job again! Jmlk17 07:19, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'll keep that in mind...thanks buddy! Jmlk17 07:27, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Sakic19.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Sakic19.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

 1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add Replaceable fair use disputed, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
 2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ccwaters 12:56, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Sakic19.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Sakic19.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 03:28, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Devils stuff

Hey, FYI, the Devils page is up for a front page request here. Voice your support so we can have it on this date; some people don't seem to think June 30 is enough of an anniversary to have it on the main page. Also, Head Coaches of the New Jersey Devils is up for FLC, check it out. Anthony Hit me up... 11:05, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Jersey Devils

The Outlaw Halo Award
For your outstanding work on things having to do with the New Jersey Devils; including the articles, lists and all that. The only reason I award this one is because the image has devils horns, so it sort of has something to do with the Devils. NJD4life 17:27, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
