Hello. Think you've misread the history. The "personal opinion" I removed said, unsourced, "He has been Arsenal's most consistent and outstanding perfomer of the season so far and the manager and fellow players have said how he will be missed during Cameroons venture in the African Cup of Nations". Wasn't me who removed the youth stats. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 08:34, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

Career statistics table
Hi there, when including a player's career statistics table, please do not include an "Assists" column - not only is the term poorly defined and up to individual interpretation, but there are zero comprehensive sources for such stats. Also, please try and seperate FA Cup and League Cup stats - ideally, you want to be using tables such as this one. Cheers, and thanks for your edits, GiantSnowman 21:58, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

Revision as of 16:34, 21 September 2011

Please don't mess up stats as you did for Aaron Ramsey - it's LEAGUE appearances and goals only in the info box. Minkythecat (talk) 12:41, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay i understand it know. Cheers

Aaron Ramsey

I know where he has played before but listing six or seven positions in the infobox just makes the article look a mess so it should be kept to his main positions. Kosack (talk) 12:58, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

==Aaron Ramsey==Supergunner08

If thats the case why did you undo second striker then plus the info is not for people that knows where he has played before, its for people that dont know so full info ahould be given.

Its not my choice mate, check any football article you want and they will have two, maybe three positions at the most. Kosack (talk) 13:07, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay when i have time i will list 3 main positions for him

"Position" parameter in footballer infobox

Hi, just thought I'd mention that according to the documentation (see Template:Infobox Football biography#Parameters), the "position" parameter in the infobox should only contain the player's "most common position (as a player). If a player is known for playing in multiple roles then the author should elect which is the most significant and explain the point more fully within the article." What that means is, put the position he usually plays in the infobox, and talk about any other positions he plays in the article itself. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 16:17, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It will be kept to 2 key positions as opposed to 3 positions.

Wojciech Szczęsny

Sorry, it's nothing personal, it's just a Wikipedia rule that players must have played a first-team professional game before an article on Wikipedia can be made about them. As of yet, Szczęsny doesn't meet that requirement. Once he does then it will be fine to write about him. In the meantime perhaps you can carry on contributing to articles about players who have already played for the Arsenal first-team? Qwghlm (talk) 11:41, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the tip-off, I'll check it out and see if I can find a specific reference that says where & when - if it was a competitive match I'll reinstate the article. Qwghlm (talk) 15:55, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alex Song

Hello. Think you've misread the history. The "personal opinion" I removed said, unsourced, "He has been Arsenal's most consistent and outstanding perfomer of the season so far and the manager and fellow players have said how he will be missed during Cameroons venture in the African Cup of Nations". Wasn't me who removed the youth stats. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 08:34, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
