Some Facts -
In early 1840's Vasind was a very small Village with about only 4-5 houses and families within. People owned a Land for Farming and also Animal Husbandary was pratised .
but in early 1850's when Britishers started construction of North Central line to connect Mumnai and Northern India . In the same period Britishers came with a proposal for a Station about 1 Kilometers Ahead of Vasind at " Khatiwali " { because the population there was good enough for a station } . But due to lack of Trust on The Britishers , Residents of Khatiwali Denied the proposal and Britishers selected Vasind as the place to Construct a Station And hence in 1855 construction was completed upto Vasind And Vasind station was Iaugrated in Mid 1855's .
This entirely changed the geography of vasind and development of vasind began . In 1866 Jhilla Parishad Shala commonly called as " Khapri shala "{ Government school } was constructed and finally 'Vasind Gram-Panchayat' was Established .Now vasind had become a Major source of connectivity to Mumbai Fpr Vasind and neighbourhood Villages. EMU services started as Construction was completed upto kasara . In Morning local use to be at 5.00 Am at Vasind and also 51153/51154 Mumbai - Bhusawal passenger "Sawari Gadi" proveded services to the people.
Vasind is an excellent locality as it has 1} Highway passing through 2} Railway station 3}Most Important is Bhatsai River for water supply.

Problems :-
Vasind had Faced various problems prior like water Scarcity but later it was solved as Bhatsai Dam was Constructed And this turned Bhatsai River Perennial { Flowing Throughout year } . also bhatsai canal helped peopleof vasind ..in early 1970's Water tank was constructed at Sahyadri hill and people got water supply in their houses by Means of Tap water.

Also people of Vasind faced another problem by the NH3 { Mumbai - Nasik } Highway as it passed through the Vasind Main Town ..Many people Lost thier live while crossing and also driving . Government of Maharshtra decided to Divert the highway from Vasind outer on peoples Demand and soon the Entire Highway through Vasind Was diverted From outer region And people got relief .

Another problem was East West Connectivity .thier existed a Crosiing on Railway tracks that connected Vasind West and East to each other .But later Central Railway Shut it down as sit delayed the Trains . But in order to maintain the connectivity "Chinchoki Nala " is used as a road under Bridge .it is usually flooded in Rainy seasons leading to Shut down of the Link ...but now as of 2019 Construction of Road over Bridge by Central Railways is on going and soon be completed thus solving the problem.
