The image was listed twice for primarily deletion but then was kept twice, second time by default due to "no consensus". Arguably, deleting the image would detriment the understanding of the article subject and one or more of its cores. It may otherwise not comply with the criterion if used in other articles.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	this image is subject to copyright law of Turkey and of the United States. Other images of the person may be subject to copyright law of Syria and other various jurisdictions. No free image of the person exists at this time.

This (other) image, reduced to less than 100,000 pixels, depicts the person in a time before his death.
