Summary

Description
English: Pictured in profile is Rhododendron prinophyllum, a vulnerable (S3) species in Ohio. Commonly seen around the borders of bogs, the floral anatomy gives clues to the pollinator of these ornate flowers: hummingbirds and butterflies. Photo was taken using a canon t7i and a 18-55mm lens; and a modified arborist's throw cube to isolate the flower structure.
